Red Devils and Midas Cichlids are fantastic fish. They are very aggressive. They will attack your hand when you put it in the tank, they will charge at you when you go near the tank.
They also love to dig and it's hard to find tank mates for them due to aggression. They are always on the go, they are a very fast fish.
What is the difference between a Red Devil and a Midas?
A true Red Devil is a bit smaller then a Midas. They also have a longer snout. While a true Midas has a lot of bulk to them, a Red Devil does not have much bulk. They have both the same aggression level.
Usually when you purchase a Red Devil or Midas you will get a hybrid, a mix between the two.
